I love my grandmother in Buffalo with all my heart. She is full blood Polish and on visits I have heard her speak with her cousin in Warsaw. It is the moat amazing sounding language and accent. It facinates me!!!
I was told by my father when I was young that dziki meant "wild". He, I'm told, had a dog by that name, so I named my cat "Dziki". I have noticed, though, in movies and such, that I often just hear "dzik". What is correct?
I love the european languages, and how they sound. I took 4 years of German because my dad knew German, but it turned out to be a waste here in Reno, NV. I should have taken SPANISH!!!!
Anyone with patience for a person of a curious mind, please respond. I would love to send a card to my grandmother with a tender saying in it. Maybe you could teach me. :-)

Why Polson? Spanish is rapidly becoming a sought after language. Some say it will become more useful than English tho I have some doubts.

Cause classes were extremely boring, i spent my time watching my watch and drawing on a piece of paper :)
I never really need to speak Spanish, whereas German can be very useful, particularly when i go to Poland (by car) via Germany.
Another interesting point is that Germany is France's biggest partner, once again, being able to speak German may help.
And to finish, i'm not so attracted to Latin languages, i prefer les langues germaniques, i feel more at ease with English than Spanish, really ! I was always the first of class in English (a teacher even asked me once if i was English or American.. ^^), even if i still make some mistakes :P

Good explanation ? ;)

PS : these are my marks au Baccalauréat (i guess you know what it is..) :
English : 16/20
Spanish : 12/20 (which is a good mark compared to those i had in classes, hehe)
