Polish army is still weak but generaly every year it looks better and better.
To year 2009 or 2012 it will be fully profesional, we have some interesting units and equipment. Our aim is to have small but modern army. Our special forces for example special unit Grom are one of the best form all over the world. Missions in which we participate help in modernisation of our army, units are more expirienced equipment is tested and structures of units are upgraded.

when taking all into account, the strongest military force in eu is germany - do your homework and check the stats

Russian soldiers are the touchest in the world.They can survive with minimum supplies.
In the field EU will have no luck against russian army.Moreover EU people are too soft and unwilling to fight a war.I suspect if it ever happens,it will be military consisting of Poles mainly.

The fact is that EU never will exists as a state and so it never will functioning as a state, because it comprises too many different nations. So, in case of war with Russia it will be ruined on the group of states which do not want any unpleasant consequenses with Russia and a little group which will comprise may be Poland and soone else. So, you will be crushed!

The only ones who can fight effectively against the Russians are the Germans provided they are allowed to build extended military forces again.Of course the Germans are not idiots to participate in a war harming their supplier of natural resources without the perspective of gaining control over them.So they will leave the duty to Americans if not undermine the latter and support the Russians.
The Czechs,Slovaks have never fought against Russians and the Hungarians,Romanians are always ready to embrace one or another.The same with bulgarians although they almost speak russian,they will be the best spies for Russia.So there remain only the French who love Russia,the Skandinavians who choose always the winner and mediteranean countries who see no reason attacking Russia.
And then GB which will think some air raids and embargo will be enough to do the job.

Norway has quite a high level of integration with the EU in various matters, including defence.
As Norway has a border (albeit a small one) with Russia, it would be quite probable that if there was a conflict, Norway would play a part.

War between Russia and EU will never happen.No country inside EU has interest in such a war.
