I agree...he was something special (on the field and off).
But he decided to end his career so he is not an option any longer...

His footprints will linger though...*wishes tear from eye*

Ollie Kahn

May he rest in peace!

One minute of silence please

Thank you!

TOP 5 (teams who will be supported by PF members)

1. POLAND → 38 voices
2. SPAIN → 11 voices
3. SWEDEN → 8 voices
4. TURKEY & the CZECH REP. → 7 voices
5. ITALY → 6 voices

Bratwurst Boy:
Trochowski, Klose, Podolski - Poland and Germany should just unify and play with one team! :):):)

That's be funny but i don't think the team would be greatly supported... ;)
What about a British team ? England, Wales, Scotland and North. Ireland together ? :)
About Kahn, he's 38, soon 39, right ? He'd better stop now than in 2 years when everybody would ask him to...

80 Millions

Hmm...you're forgetting about the Poles, Turks, Italians who live in Germany ;)
So, maybe 40 millions... LOL kidding :)
I like Germany's team, i hope they'll play Italy and beat them.....But i also hope that Poland will win against Deutschland though...even if a draw would be okay. I may be watching this game in Paris with a friend of mine who is of German descent... As i'm half Polish... Hehe. We said yesterday that we wouldn't drink neither German beer nor Polish...maybe Dutch...Heineken ;P

espana:
thank you!!!!!!

Who are you thanking ? PF members ? :)
The votes are not over yet ;)

Beat them, my freund ;)

Hmm...that would mean that both France and Poland are eliminated... Naah, quarter or semi-finals would be okay ;)

Fair, but football is not always logical, and there are surprises (Greece 2004 LoL).
We'll see ;)

On Football Focus BBC1 earlier today Garth Crooks (ex-Spurs player) stated that his outside bet for Euro 2008 would be Poland :o))

At odds of 50-1 it might be worth putting a couple of £'s on the Biało Czerwoni !!

Good odds, well worth a flutter. However, I think that Beenhaaker subtely gave the reason he was here on a Polish commercial. Sadly, this has taken over the game and, I'm sorry, but it's hard to see Poland winning.

Germany will likely win 1-0 against Poland like last time. Poland lost to Macedonia tonight but I rate Macedonia quite highly. They may well beat Scotland.

I believe, my team TURKEY can make a surprise in this tournament. Team is working hard and plays positive football in friendly matches.

My other favourites are; Italy, Holland and Spain.

This tournament will not be as exciting for me as England aren't in it... (wait until the
World Cup!)

However I cannot stand Germany, and I want Croatia out therefore come on Poland. I would like to see Poland do well in this tournament. Reason being that in the last world cup that Poland was knocked out the Poles in my old work place were all following England. Two of them even had England shirts in their possession for some reason. So in return I guess I'll follow Poland.
