More excitement as we find out who will be in Polska's group for Euro 2008 !

Who would we like in our group, and who is it best to avoid ?

Hehe ;)
Poland will have to beat all its opponents if wanna be European champion.
Maybe it'd be good to avoid Austria...

If Scotland had made it through, that would have been a good match, but alas, we were robbed by a cheating ref!

Shame i'd have had a great night out in Warsaw in my kilt, lol :)

Poland are a better team at present than Rep. of Ireland (who didn't make euro '08) but Rep. of Ireland's record Versus Germany is much better...so, i'm hoping for a Polish win against Germany...is it too much to ask the gods for?

Gary, rest assured, it has not gone un-noticed that the scots are the only "home nation" at present whose player's can play for the shirt

I think earlier this year, they had a month during which supporters could register on the UEFA site , and then at some later date they would have a lottery to allow the lucky winners to purchase tickets.

In January 2008, I believe there will be another opportunity to register for another lottery :o)

its probably 100-200 euro per game

Hmm...not more ?...it depends on what seats, and probably on when you buy the tickets (a year before or 2 weeks before the game)

Toughest group looks like Group C ..... they'll probably name it the Group of Death !

Poland won't have it easy ..... both Germany and Croatia will be difficult games; Austria look to be the weakest team in the group, but having home advantage will always be a plus.

Now comes the toughest job of all ...... getting tickets to these games !

Alright, it sounds like perversion to my classical training but I actually want Poland and Croatia to own those "Anschlussers". A very exciting group indeed, well worth wasting my time to watch!

It couldn't be easy. We were in 4th pot, so 3 other teams should be theoretically stronger. Good that we got Austria from the 1st pot, not Holland or Greece. Germany and Croatia are very good but definately not out of range.

That's what i said yesterday, damn it, we have Austria !! :P
Seriously, i wouldn't bet on a large Poland victory against Austria...first of all, they will play on their field, at home...then they have nothing to lose, they know that they won't win the Championship...and finally, we had them for the World Cup 06 qualification, and if i remember well, the result in Austria was 3-2 for Poland...not that easy, huh ?

Germany is not unbeatable...remember their game against the Czechs at München 0-3, of course they were already qualified, but anyway... ;) And it reminds me the World Cup game...revenge, revenge ;) LoL

Finally Croatia...a very good team, one of the best of the qualifications. As Germany, Poland can beat them. Nothing's impossible, and faith is the best thing ^^ LoL

Anyway, 1st or 2nd, it does not really matter (maybe Poland could play against Portugal in the 1/4F, again, again...hehe), what matters is that Poland, for its first participation in this beautiful Cup, win the final, that's all :D

Austria was in the 1st pot together with Switzerland, Holland and Greece, so Austria was the best for us.

BTW We play the first game against Gerries, 2nd Austria, 3rd Croatia.

It's time to show the rest of Europe that Poland is the best ^^ LoL
Seriously, yes, there's a beginning for everything, so this Euro may be the "beginning"of a great Polish football "era" ;)
