One common military, stonger than NATO.

Polish MEP for Euro army

Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, chairman of the foreign relations committee of
the European Parliament is in favor of establishing one common EU
military force.

The Polish MEP said this would enable, for instance, intervention of
units from Union countries in conflict situations in which NATO
cannot or does not want to engage its forces.

The idea of creating EU units has been presented by the party of
French president Sarkozy. Poland could contribute 10 thousand troops
to this European contingent. Jacek Saryusz-Wolski reminded Poland
should feel an obligation towards this initiative, being part of the
G-6 group of the biggest countries of the Old Continent and a country
with long experience in combat missions, including Iraq.

is a bad bad idea imo based on the answer to the simple question of who would have control over this military. it becomes an even worse idea when one ponders as to whether or not this military could become involved in the internal affairs of various member states. and lastly the existence of Kosovo only brings the greater problems to the table.

Well, then, what would NATO be used for?...would they become, like the US military, a 'private police force' for global bankers & their gangster allies, but operating outside of Europe?...and what would be the purpose for this new EU force?...acting as 'cleanup men' in areas like the Balkans?

you're thinking UN.. but then isn't that what military is for in a CIVILIZED world? lol

i didn't find it interesting the same way but interesting none the less.. this means that each country would still retain it's military so the EU force is just for conquest or to keep the cowboys and the bears in check. :)

Fantastic. Now please hurry up and take over the Serb-Kosovo border before another genocide happens. Good luck. You're gonna need it.

All routes leads to Brussels, to the bunch of the highest bureaucrats called European Commission. This is common for all bureaucrats, they want to control everything, agriculture, culture, education or media. So why not army?

Somebody need to pacify revolting provinces when necessary and restore freedom, equality and brotherhood in European nation. :)

Lesser is this the link you were referring to. LOL I say keep the "penis". Now this is important. Maybe one for the other arm with a lion showing big boobs and vagina.

Sweden's chief heraldists remain dissatisfied with a decision by the Nordic Battlegroup to remove a lion's penis depicted on its coat of arms.

The coat of arms is not really important. Simply woman should be banned from military. Where the hell is this old ethos of man defending woman?? Why in the west everything must be upside down? Probably sending woman division on the first front would the greatest sign of progressiveness according to the warriors of the political correctness.

False EU Promises for the Balkans

Serbia. Kosovo. Montenegro. Macedonia. The European Union has held out the carrot of membership to all of them. But who in the EU wants to see the bloc get bigger? Hardly anybody.

All without exceptions. We should not be ashamed to admit something which is obvious. You could be offended if I would claim otherwise.

Sarkozy is such a person who need from time to time proclaim some great project of pan-European importance. I think this is part of his PR, because this is not the first such initiative from him.

A queen 2000 years ago? I'm curious whether her army consisted also from women...

There was more than 4000 woman from AK in Warsaw. Also with all due respect woman in AK served as nurses and couriers. Plus the fact that this was not a conventional army. Beside of that even if all woman of Warsaw would fight with guns it would change nothing.

I think Sarkozy's new wife should volunteer for a worthwhile role in this new EU force...maybe she can be involved in the designing of the new uniforms, or something similiar...perhaps she could serve in a humanitarian capacity, maybe as a nurse or physician's assistant...or maybe should could entertain the troops in some way.

Just remember that the EU Parliament are the same who wanted to have Polish schools teach children the joys of homosexuality & 'alternate lifestyles'.
