English speaking and based in Krakow. Just need a check up - no teeth whitening...no caps...no cosmetic enhancements to my teeth. Just a regular dentist. Any recommendations?

(p.s. I wasn't sure what section to post this in so I'm sorry if it is in the wrong place :) )

CM LIM/Luxmed have English speaking staff, I think it will be perfectly enough for you.

Cheers Olaf, these guys seem a little surgeony (yep, it's a word!! :P ) and I think they are in Warsaw but will check them out.

My friend directed me to one on Wieliczka Street, had the appointment this morning - couldn't even find the bus to get me there so gave up. I am useless and need somewhere that I can get to without the aid of public transport :)

No problem - the places I gave you are in Kraków and not only, it's a network.

surgeony

also, but I do check-ups there too. One is in Herbewo building, Słowackiego avenue the other is at Lublanska - in Capgemini building. Do you know how to get there? I really recommend www.jakdojade.pl - uses google maps and has all up-to-date public transport to suggest the best routes from A to B. Here's how to get to CM LIM at Lublanska

Ah, thanks, for some reason I could only see Warsaw.

It looks like I'll have to get a tram there which will inevitably end in disaster, but I guess if I don't get this crack in my tooth sorted soon I'll have to sort it out myself - Castaway style!! :)

A tram is a disaster? You can use this website and just count the stops to get off on the right one, they are often displayed and announced vocally in trams, so therre really shouldn't be any worries. Ultimately, take a taxi.

This is the dentist I had quite a lot of treatment done with when I lived in Krakow. 50pln is the usual check up price and the place is state of the art modern. They all speak brilliant English also :)

You can find them here which is either a small walk from the centre or you can jump on tram 1 and just get off at stop before turning right ;)
On the google map it's pin point "A"

(It seems that my free help to a castaway will cost me money to this cast a way.)

I don't need to have an ice skate. I can ski on my fingers if the ice is clean enough.. opppps. There is a hair here on the ice, not a crack.)

Sounds like a good combo, but only if you are a registered chiropractor too. Been trying to crack my upper back for days and hurt my lower back in the process...

Chirapractors are not entitled, not registered here to do such works. Guess, you are American.

You'll need assistant Wilson.
Another option is there's a bouncer in Irish Mbassy pub who really knows how to knock abundant teeth out. He doesn't have a contract with National Healt Fund but he'll do it for free I reckon.
