I am moving to Poland in the coming months and I will need a car. I'm finding bad reviews online about purchasing a car in Poland. If I were to purchase a LHD car in Ireland and drive over would I have much difficulty registering it over there? I understand that the Poles love their paperwork...
If anyone has any suggestions on how I might purchase a car that is roadworthy and safe for approx 8,000-12,000 PLN, I'd love to hear from you.

best bet is to buy an Irish reg'd LHD and drive it over. Yeah there is a bit of paperwork (3 different offices, customs/tax/car reg) but it's the simplest way of moving over.

Thanks for that. I'll ring my Irish insurer first to see if they will have any difficulty insuring a lhd car that may not be Irish registered whilst I get Polish cover sorted.
