Not sure if I can post links but I will try, just go to this link download the windows version of this software and you can watch bbc 1,2 itv 1,2,3,4 ch 4, ch 5, sky news and a few more.

It works 24/7 and is free. maybe if anyone else has some links or ways to watch other channels they could post them on this thread.

if anyone has any problems getting this to work just post your problems and I will try to help!

From December 19 we will be releasing our site all over Europe www.tvcatchup.com and from that date you will be able to watch UK TV all over Europe legally.
This will be made possible because of a change in EU law under the "Television without Frontiers" (TVWF) EU Directive LINK

When that link was posted, I tried it and couldn't get it to work. Now it does!

By the way, will your post 19 Dec site be free or paid for?

Our site will be free and the aim will be to make it self-sustaining by short advertising before you watch a channel, which will only be shown four times a day.
We have an iPhone application in Apples approval process at the moment and this will be released in three weeks as it has already been preapproved.

As soon as we get the green light I will post up more details, but by December we hope to have 60 FTA channels up and running, now we have 30 with more going in today.

Yeah that link was over edited by the mods not understanding how links work.

Is there a way to get Irish TV?

As I said after Dec 19 this year, all EU TV will be available to each member country over the internet - this doesn’t enforce TV companies to do this, but it does allow others to rebroadcast the signal and they are covered in doing this by the directive.
No doubt someone will pop up with Irish rebroadcasting or we might do it ourselves if there is enough call for it, we will be also rebroadcasting Polish TV to the UK.
Next month we are putting servers all over the EU in anticipation of the directive and we are putting one on the German Polish border to cover this area, more will be added later to cover demand.

Thank you for the reply.
It would be nice to see a couple of G.A.A. matches.
I will wait for December, thanks.

This pirate software is not our product muppet !!!

At the moment we cannot release ours in the EU due to laws that only restrict us to the UK.
We use our TV servers to publish the stream in H.264 codec directly to you via our web server and HD FLV flash player, which is far superior to the BBC iPlayer.

So we get an almost crystal clear picture, which admittedly depends on your bandwidth which should be over 1.5Mb.

Only by spacific means, otherwise you will have to wait until December.

Quote from the website:
TVCatchup is a UK service and can be accessed only from within the United Kingdom.
Access from another ISP and/or location may be restricted.

But you can always use a British proxy..

Vincent

You'd need to find a proxy server that is stationed in UK and connect to TVCatchup services through it - it will obscure your local polish ip with proxy's british ip. It might be hard to find a free proxy server capable of media streaming. I'm pretty sure there are paid proxies widely available.

Another way is to connect through a VPN ( Virtual Private Network ) which is technologically different but still acts similarly from a clients point of view.

There you have, an example of a company that provides payable proxy/VPN services:

A proxy will not work as we have blocked them and we will also be blocking VPN's to a certain extent soon.

That's up to you to decide isnt it :)
And did you know we can detect a IP behind a VPN now, and it is very easy to do if you now how lol
Lets just say it's to do with timing :)
