What do people in Poland like to buy? Can bring things from USA. Making money in Poland.

Hi everyone,

I will be attending school in Poland and I would like to make money on the side. My Polish friend said that I should think about bringing some things to Poland from America to sell while I am there. What else would be a good idea? I am an English teacher (10 years of experience and a Masters degree) so do you think it would be easy to find private students? I am also studying tattoo artistry. Does any of that sound like a good idea?

Tatoo thingy is a lately very trendy,you might make money opening a tatoo studio on the side(i dont know the laws regarding the same).regarding bringing things from the usa is very little money not worth the hastle.

Clothes are much cheaper in the US.Just remember Poles are not as fat as Americans.

Actually, 'peterweg' is in fact correct. The US were number 1 in the obesity league for a long time.

The UK is something like number 4 or 5. Poland is not even in the top 10, and my observation is Poles are in much better shape than Brits & Ams.

Ha. Thanks. My buddy did say that I could import jeans (he mentioned Levis) and sell them. Any input on the specific types of clothing or items that people buy?

I frequent the secondhand clothes shops. The big waist men's trousers and jeans are often left until max discount day each week. Market may therefore be patchy at best.
