Well, I'm not sure whats the best forum for this but what ever...

I'll be in Krakow later this month, I'd like to sell my iPhone while I'm in town. I haven't used it in about a year and I need zloty for my 4 month stay, so rather then sell it in the US before I leave I think it could make more sense to sell it in Krakow.

Any way, its the white 16gb iPhone 3g. I used it for about 1 year and I all ways kept in in a case with a screen shield protected. The battery has good life and there are no scratches or any thing. For being used, it is in pretty great condition. I still have the box and everything that came with the iPhone with the exception of the ear phones. It is unlocked and I'm assuming it would work with any Polish or European carrier despite originating in the US.

I don't read or write polish so it is not easy for me to do my own price check through the internet, but I have seen some pretty high prices for unlocked iPhone 4's, if these are new or used phones I couldn't tell. Any way, I'd be happy with about 300pln if thats possible, if its more or less, thats cool too. But I'd be happy to get it off my hands for a modest price and into some one else's hands who really wanted one because they seem obscenely expensive in Poland.

I do hope you have a valid visa or will be sorting out a residency permit during this time.

If you're coming through Warsaw and the phone is genuinely unlocked (i.e. when I put my SIM card in, it works no problem), I'll take the thing off your hands at that price.

If you buy a USA, I PHONE, you will need to update the software and it will cost you between 150-250 PLN in Warsaw. A colleague of mine has just gone through this experience.

You can do this yourself and it is very easy to do and there are videos all over youtube telling you how to do this.

The same refers to above.
