these types of stories make me think i wouldn't worry if 60% of the human race was just wiped out.

For these there is a good law that tells hunters to eliminate them, as they cause substantial damage to local animals and can be dangerous to people too. They hunt in packs like wolves.

Yes. 150m from houses, without a collar, and you can blast away.

I went on a wild boar hunt a few years back.... just as a driver , as i had a 4 x 4...i am not into shooting animals for fun.....

anyways...the next day , i was not with them , one of the beaters , the guys who help drive the boar towards the hunters got shot by a Polish hunter who had been drinking...he later died...

I have seen beer cans below the ambona that was near my land...very scary...drink some beer then start firing a high powered rifle about the place....

one of my neighbours has had two dogs shot by hunters...both had collars on...both were on her land....

I'm shocked that it's still happening though. Wow...it's amazing how uncivilized Poles can act.

As oppose to how civilized the Yanks can be? LOL Haven't you ever heard of Michael Vick's and his passion for one particular sporting event featuring dogs as main attraction or all those puppy mills in the states? Chained dogs outside in winter? perhaps you never heard of or seen Iditarod race either? Amusing how quickly the Yanks judge others yet totally silent on what is really happening in their own back yard. Now hear's something for you to chew on, perhaps you should lead by example, never-mind looks like you already do.

Do Europeans think the word "Yank" is supposed to offend Americans? I'm just wondering because it sounds so silly.

Those hunter must be nutters. Nothing like that happens when I go on a hunt and most hunting is done in winter, drinking beer outside during a Polish winter doesn't seem like fun.

That should end in court (with the hunters assc. as I suspect she never found out who shhot them).

That must've been some stupid redneck not a real hunter, should have his licence revoked. I've been to many hunts and if there was food and drinking it was only after all shooting finished and everyone's rifle was unloaded and kept away.

Bit of a stupid argument there (nothing new) - the dogs in the Iditarod are bred for it and enjoy it.

And yet Poles had the cheek to complain about the alleged killing of dogs in Ukraine!

Organised hunts in Poland are very well supervised , and safety is a top priority.....

Sadly there are lots of lone hunters who are just a danger to anything that moves....

In some towns during the 1950s and 1960s, it was popular for teenagers to abuse animals in Poland.

How do you know that?

I'd be very careful about smearing allegations against Poles without more solid evidence. Yes, I have seen isolated incidents of cruelty but visible love in the great majority of cases.
