Im on my way to get my prawo jazdy as well in poland. my U.S license is expired unfortunately so i can't exchange it with polish one soon enough. so, i have to go thru stupid driving classes again which cost ridiculously high and later written and driving test. i've heard they have the test in english too...

Wrong. They do.

I know, because I did mine in English.

Ridiculously high? I paid 1600zl for mine. Not exactly expensive.

and besides I don't know how you going to pass driving test since you don't understand Polish. You are doomed man.

Wrong again. You merely have to have a sworn translator accompany you - cost - 300zl.

Me and several others have passed in Poznan in the last year this way.

so total would be around 2000zl. Well, I guess should mention that when i compare to US license cost around $25 (75zl) or Indonesia cost 2 mill rp ($200) or (600zl). so i believe 2000zl is ridiculously high price.

You can't compare the European testing system to the ridiculously lax American process or a third world country.

Then get yourself US or Indonesian DL or STFU.And don't be so smart because in the US it depends on the state. In MD it's $50+ $25 mandatory drugs and alcohol evaluation and it does not include driving school ,yes, I do know.Oh, and CDL is $3700 (DE) including driving school.

Ouch.

Poland is what, 3000zl maximum?

(found one - 1900zl for the C+E course, and the driving tests are about 200zl i think?)

You're trying to compare apples and oranges.

Poland is cheap by EU standards, which is what most people compare to.
