Can anyone tell me if I can use Blackberry Meesenger for free in Poland, and if yes, which network supports it?

I am assuming you can use BBM free globally most networks support BBM unless you go to the UAE/Saudi Arabia where RIM (Research in Motion) is banned. Networks to try would be Orange, ERA and Play in Poland.

Blackberry Messenger is free everywhere. (Pin to Pin) and no roaming charges apply. Only text messages are part of the cellular provider's billing plan.

Yes, but Blackberry isn't popular in PL.

Banned in UAE - Saudi were talking about banning it but Blackberry is hugely popular there.

As you might be aware because Saudi government cannot have control over RIM as they like to control all telecommunication etc it is largely why they dont allow it hence why i said both UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Blackberry on prepaid

Hi All, Can anyone tell me if there is a service provider in Poland that supports Blackberry with a prepaid sim card?

Thanks

I have Orange POP prepaid sim and I see that the Orange world webpage loads on my blackberry screen but I cannot access other features like BB messenger. I plan on asking the Orange store in Manufaktura or Galleria or maybe the big tesco on wlokniarzy about if my POP account has a data plan. If not I will switch to something that offers me a data plan because BB messenger requires it.

SA-guy? Sturmabteilung? Maybe you should think a little before you choose that kind of user name on a Polish forum!?!

Probably means South Africa. Saudi Arabia at a pinch. A stormtrooper would be pretty strange in Lodz, though frankly they haven't bothered to paint most of the buildings since then so maybe it would add some 'period feel'.
