Because I'm English, and thats the cold way we greet people ...

But seriously, found myself leaving a guest message on a topic earlier on tonight, and then thought it would be terribly rude not to introduce myself properly ..

So here I am ....

Hello and good evening everybody ...

Please don't shake me by the hand. lol - while having hiccups. A funny image in my mind, please forgive me. I'm being silly.
You can shake my hand tough. And, welcome.

Hi Evil ...

none of this handshaking stuff ... if you want to do the traditional Polish greeting ... then it's three kisses on the cheeks !

then it's three kisses on the cheeks

I wouldn't suggest this with just anyone.

I once saw an Englishman get the shock of his life when a Polishman greeted him this way.

True. Only family or those very close. Sometimes notice it when I'm at the railway station, but otherwise I've not seen it happen for a long time.

I think it's very Good of you to introduce yourself. We get enough outside intervention without so much as a by your leave. Welcome indeed to another printer! What's your specialty; Graphics, Pressman, Bindery, Line Camera etc.

I had a feeling my comment would bring such a response ..... cheeks on ones face !

Admittedly, the three kisses on cheeks greetings may be more appropriate once you get to know the person better, but I have seen people meeting for the first time greeting this way !!

It can be quite a shock for an English person to be greeted this way !

Lets face it , I'm so bloody predictable ...

To tell you the truth I have greeted Polish like this first time, but only close family members to my girlfriend at the time ...
