back to the 20th centruy thing, not to do with religion, also look at bullying in schools whn you observe the behaviour you will relaise that conflict is associated with traits like pride, jealousy, denial and greed (to name a few). We shouldnt blame religion for human nature. if you take religion out do you think people will stop engaging in confilct, i do not think so. faith teaches patience, teached to love ones family and neighbour, what ideology atheism or secularism teaches love, athiesm promotes greed as it describes the world as the only place so to fulfil our needs we will do whatever we want, mr dawkins has an interesting apporach personally he needs to stop labelling others and actually complete his research instead of explaining issues to the world in half.
