I've travelled matey. I've been to Turkey, they loved us. I've been to Greece, they loved us. I've been to the Canarie Islands, they liked us. I've been to Lanzarote, they liked us but too stuck up. I've been to the U.S and they absolutely loved us. I've been to Thailand, they loved us. I've been to Bulgaria and again they loved us. I've been to Crete and I made many friends there. From my experience of my travels you speak an utter load of codswollop. I love my flag and I love the union jack. IFly it with PRIDE.

Why be ashamed of your flag? It's just a bit of coloured material.
Why be proud of it too? Again, it's just a bit of coloured material.
And it only represents what people want it to represent.
What were The Who doing posing with Union Flags in the 1960s? Noel Gallagher's Union Flag guitar.
I can harldy see Mr. Gallagher (note the origin of the name) using it to conquer and oppress the Irish.

Just a bit of coloured material? Not to the people that care about their country. It's a symbol of our country and for everything that it stands for. Which is exactly why you will be locked up in the UK for flag burning.

That's the consequence of opening the borders for all to enter. The liberal do-gooders bend over backwards to prevent offence to the foreigners. I, however, have not lost my identity. I will forever be English/British and proud of it. Most Poles I've come across have seen it in me. They know. There is no political correctness inside of me. I say how I feel. They respect my opinions. Some would call me racist for criticising government policies but the fact is that word is getting so old that I just shrug it off. I'm not one to ramble on about politics though. I tend to talk football and women!

Probably you have no issues with decent Poles in UK. And it's good. Thing is from my very first day in UK i don't feel comfortable. So many brits kept remainding me: "This is not your country" - that's what i heard a thousand of times. Those who got known me better started apologized for being rude and racist towards me. I don't want to steal your country or your national identity. I have mine!. I do appreciate that i can work here. Im so happy about my job (i could say: i'm changing the London for better looking place) im proud that i can work for UK despite i'm still polish and i always be. During my almost 4 yrs stay in UK i didn't use my rights to take benefits even when i was entitled to. 95% of Poles are catholic/christian so regarding your national legacy you should be happy about our presence in UK. We're doing a better balance between muslims/hindu and christians in christian country. I heard some moaning about 21 mil pound given to Poles as benefits in last year. Why nobody won't say it out loud that we've brought about 1 billion pounds in taxes for British economics ??

And what part of ...."Don't feed the trolls didn't you understand"?

Trip.....you're argument is spot on, but will fall on deaf ears to the likes of St George (and the other Daily Mail readers). PLEASE don't encourge this obsence and embarrasing nonsense. The majority of Brits welcome you and everyone else that wants to come here, work and make a life for themselvs.

As I said, I welcome Poles with open arms. If immigration is open to non-eu migrants then I would LOVE the Eastern Europeans to come here. In Asian dominated areas we're now starting to see white faces and that's thanks to the likes of Poles, Czechs, Estonians etc. They're infiltrating muslim-bound areas and I'm loving it!
You will come across people that may give you the impression that you're not welcome but those are the idiots. I've met some Polish that were arrogant and had the "I'm only here for the money" attitude but the majority were decent people that are willing to integrate and even LEARN our language, which gains alot of respect! I had a football match yesterday in Preston and half the team were Polish! I'd rather have Polish catholics/secularists in this country than muslims and Africans any day. Those that are moaning about the Polish and the benefits I would assume is the media. The media stirs trouble and likes to brainwash people. But again that's only the minority. I, myself, have Eastern European ancestry that moved here during the 30s/40s but which country I don't know. I don't know too much about my ancestors

P.s Another thing, my mum wanted a new bathroom fitted. She rang some English firm and they were charging £300 to fit a bath! She saw a Pole advertisement so she rang him and he charged just £500 to do the WHOLE bathroom. The Polish guy goes to work during the day and after he finishes work he goes round to my parents house and fits the bathroom. My parents say he's "a really lovely guy." My parents feed him meals. He spends AGES fitting the bathroom on his own everynight after work. Not only are the Polish hard working but they're CHEAPER.

Why?

I was in Manchester the day the bomb went off, the IRA's main aim was to hit the pocket and not to take lives...there could have been 100's killed that day but that wasnt the aim. You have to read the history to appreciate the hatred and who can blame them, but thats in the past now and thankfully we have peace.

There havent actually been that many deaths on the mainland.

Why? Because they're terrorists. The bomb that went off in Manchester injured 200 people and some were seriously injured. They also killed 9 people in a shopping area in Belfast. They killed 21 people at a pub in Birmingham. What about the Omagh bombings that killed 28? They're terrorists and nothing else.

If immigration stopped outside the Eu then I would be in favour of a stop elsewhere. I would NOT be against immigration for Europeans to fill jobs that Brits WON'T do. I believe in an immigration system of "let only those in to do the jobs that Brits can't fill or won't do." Immigration can be a benefit to the country and the people but not MASS immigration. It puts a strain on housing property, the NHS, public services etc. But if the non-eu citizens are still flocking in then come on Poles, you come too!

I love Polish but I love my country more.

Im not going to get into an argument with you, because I dont really want to simple!

The IRA did what they did, right or wrong, I dont condone nor do I condemn...how many Irish lives were lost on Bloody Sunday? or down the H blocks? or in fact since British Rule?

There were different factions and it's all a bit messy to say who did what with regards to the IRA.

..hmmm.... 1+1=2 or 1000+1000=2000 which means it is even more benefits to this country ..do the math.

Does it benefit our National Health Services, our housing property, our public services? Do you honestly think that there is no limit to immigration? Do you think that no matter the quantity we let in that we will cope? By 2050 as things are going the country's population will DOUBLE. Do you think we'll STILL cope?

.... Think about it

Just to let you know...

Polish tendency to immigrate to UK is decreasing right now rapidly. Because polish currency is getting stronger (for some reason and I completely don't know why)it's causing many of Poles coming back to Poland.

Not really when you think about .....Its ok for british to go to any other contry occupie rape, kill etc

But its a problem for poles to come to britain and try and make a life for themselfs and contribute to the development of your contry...

Thats funny..

I agree that we have problems with the services in this country because of the large numbers immigrating here - but I think you should look at the economic benefits from EU members - its the rest that are here for a free ride.....Its like Triptic said, in the 4 years he's been in here hasn't claimed a penny and that probably goes for the majority of EU members, who I may add probably dont have 4 / 5 kids each....the problem is not with those that have a right to be here, its those that dont have the right..

Maybe you should ask the Spanish how they feel about the large number of Brits that go over or maybe speak to the French or the Aussis?
