That statement is remarkably stupid. Not even worth the bother

so its ok for your government to take all thier tax's but not ok for them to use the services they paid for..regardless of the numbers they come in if they pay for it they are entitled to it...

The Polish that are paying the taxes are very welcome to use these services but still... these services are being STRAINED.

I agree that we have problems with the services in this country because of the large numbers immigrating here - but I think you should look at the economic benefits from EU members - its the rest that are here for a free ride.....Its like Triptic said, in the 4 years he's been in here hasn't claimed a penny and that probably goes for the majority of EU members, who I may add probably dont have 4 / 5 kids each....the problem is not with those that have a right to be here, its those that dont have the right..

Maybe you should ask the Spanish how they feel about the large number of Brits that go over or maybe speak to the French or the Aussis?

I said I'm not against immigration for filling jobs that Brits can't or won't do. If we need recruits then we should look to our fellow European countries.

The Spanish NEED Brits. They're not over-populated. The British that have emigrated to Spain have opened up their own businesses and have CREATED jobs for the Spanish people. The Aussies are the same. They're crying out for British people. They need to fill gaps in the working industries. I don't know too much about the French.

Honey, you need to read some history about what the English did to the Irish it would make you cry - a country was torn apart and destroyed.

about 3.5 million Irish in Ireland. 70 million Irish world wide.
The Poles are the new Irish. The Brits, well they are still Brits, this thread is as old as the hills.

Light Infantry 2nd Batallion is a fighting unit. The British armed forces were in Northern Ireland and they fought the IRA. My dad killed members of the IRA and also been shot at in Northern Ireland... I used to live in Northern Ireland myself. They fought in the LI from the 70s through to the early 90s.

How are you finding life in the UK? Do you plan to return to Poland in the near future or do you plan to stay? I know alot that are heading back but I also know a few that are considering staying permanently. One couple has just given birth here and are starting a family.

In answer to your question, I have been residing in the UK for just over four years, and plan to remain here for the rest of my life. This is because I am married to a Scottish woman, and as she does not speak Polish, its easier for us to remain in the UK. Life in the UK is easier for her, and so I am happy to adapt my life to suit her.

If you're going to go for an English girl I'd recommend NORTHERN English girls, I love them! There's a much higher ratio of stunning English lasses up North than there are down South .

Very true...

And the reason for this?? well its because the more northern you go the closer to Scotland you get, hence you get more of a Celtic personality and breed as apposed to a sassenach trait...........

tongue in cheek........

Brilliant. I'm happy for you. Good luck with life in Britain and your life with your wife.

Saying that though have you seen the Geordie women? Eeek. They act, talk and look like men. On one occasion I went to Newcastle, Whitley Bay I was sitting on a stool in a bar and this Geordie woman sat on my knee and said "canna fart on yer knee like?" Dirty cow and she started picking at my chips too lol!

Just a bit of coloured material? Not to the people that care about their country. It's a symbol of our country and for everything that it stands for. Which is exactly why you will be locked up in the UK for flag burning.

and what about the systematic burning of the Irish tricolour every year on Halloween when every loyalist housing scheme in N.Ireland burn bonfires for their celebrations.....
