I've just noticed that some of my input has mysteriosuly disappeared. That pretains to the thread I started about religion on the rise in Poland as well as a Polish-language thread (my first ever) on Sunday's Polish election. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is some daily quota limit per PF-er or some form of censorship in force? Has any other PF-er experienced a similar thing -- input that gets lost in the system or otherwise never makes it through?

Tricky one.

Bulletin boards are threaded using a parent/child matching system. Orphan the child by knocking out the parent (due to trolling, whatever) and the child has no parent to latch on to so won't get displayed.

The best way to kill these kind of entries is to edit out the content & leave a stub. Sends a message to the poster (the absence of an entry sends out no message at all) and the kiddies don't have to go into care.

Mods, what do you think about doing it that way? Can't be harder than tweaking IDs in the database...

Scratch the indulgent tone of that last comment. They've bollocksed up big time. You'll probably fined the charred remains of your thread in the random conversation (deleted monthly). I just did. Utterly non-sequiturial.

Pol3, stop being rude ;) ;) ;)

This is a good exercise for those who can learn more about the functions of PF. Always explore the various options.

You're having a laugh, right? Functions != bugs.

I have checked and double-checked my threads and for some reason my input on both the PO alibi and religion thread have gone missing, probably irretrievably so. O well, win some, lose some! From now on I'll make copies.
