Now, I think I may have mentioned this before, a forum I used to frequent used to have a function that, when you clicked a "new post" link to a forum you were brought to the first new post since you visited it. It is a minor thing, but it saves having to scroll through lines of text trying to find where you left off. The particular site has been doing it since 2006, so obviously it can't be that hard to code in. I can even get the webmaster of said site to show how it's done if need be.

It's just a suggestion of something I think would make life that wee bit easier for users.

I just did, it's good, but a lot of hassle when a simple line of code could just flag any posts on the homepage (when you are logged in) as new and you could click that and it would bring you to your last read post in said thread?

I am very lazy though, so that could just be me.
