when we use commons sense we are able to tell apart the truth and facts form the bs most of the time. Some people regardless their race or social situation will use excuses for their behavior, but in this case it was the lawyer. Nice try but I guess he is allowed to use all kinds of excused in order to prove his case. In the long run those people will become more untisocial if they are not corrected.

The newsflash will show him in his high school cap and the robe and they will describe the victim as an underprivileged, hard working student. With time, it turns out the "promising" student was a petty drug dealer, with two robbery convictions, on probation for sexual assault and dropped out of school two years prior to the incident.
