Why random thread ?

which supposed to be deleted monthly - hasn't been deleted for months if not years ? Who is responsible ? Only mods can answer that question - why ?

Ironside: hasn't been deleted for months if not years it might be a few months, yes. the date of the first posts in that thread may be misleading. the posts may have come from old threads, which have been cleaned up a bit, but recently.

I could even go for a gold membership if I knew something more about ideas and plans of the Adm! I think that it would be a good idea to present some prospect or vision - if such exists!

Why doesn't Random simply automatically purge the oldest posts as new ones get added?
