My suggestion is a reward system. If it would be possible to rate the posters for their each post I think it may help the overall quality of forum. In my opinion there should be positive and negative points and also there may be a reward for punishments for highest and lowest points after a specified period. There may be also some negative admin points if someone broke the forum rules. I recently spend many times in a technical forum and this system works very well there not sure if possible here ?

Replace the logo with a Nazi Swastika and/or a KKK banner. That way newcomers would know just what to expect when they read these forums.

my goodness me this system sounds like it would be more difficult to explain and execute than test cricket to a person who has never heard of the game. It is a good thought but not a very good idea :) thanks for the suggestion though

Certain threads your talking about, it might seem a bit strange to people who come here looking for recipes. ;)

If there were no Mods/Admin, that would be cool, imagine a free for all!!!!!!! Chaos would rule and PF would have so many hits its popularity would go through the roof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are right :). Before coming Poland I had nightmares because of PF. But it's good to see Poland is better than PF.

It was just mine, I hope there will be some more interesting ideas...

I've seen that system on a few Dutch forum boards already. Just imagine a little thumbs up and thumbs down icon underneath everyone's posts. Every reader, including guests, may click the thumbs up or thumbs down icon once, and there will also appear numbers behind the thumbs up and thumbs down icons.

With a message something along the lines of:

''20 of 30 people think this reaction is (Here's the thumbs up or thumbs down icon, depending on the balance!) I think this reaction is: (clickable thumbs up or tumbs down icon.) Every user can only choose once.

It's easy to implement really, but you should NEVER attach any point systems to it, or even take the thumbs up or down seriously. You'll always have a few jokers who will click a thumbs down for everyone, regardless of the content of the posting.

;)

You can have a look at it for yourself here: (Most of you don't understand Dutch, but I'm sure you can notice the thumb icons!)

PF should be prohibited.

Things are just more fun when they're illegal.

My suggestion is to restrain voting in polls to registered users only.

I think you should add Age Groups. We should be separates from other ages so we know what to talk about.

20's
30's
40's
50's
60 & over??

Each of us can post anythings on our mind?????

How's that?

I don't think that would be desirable. I mean, some younger people who might come here with certain questions might actually benefit from a fair amount of life experience?

I don't think we should necessarily add age groups...
because sometimes id rather not be stuck with people my age on certain topics
you cant separate by age because maturity levels change based on each person

Interesting.

However, perhaps posters who wanted to ask something specific about Poland related topics might add that into their thread titles, for example: "Warsaw vacation, are there specific clubs for over 60's interested in dancing?"

Also true. One may agree or disagree with someone younger than them on one subject and on another subject someone older.

He would have a battle on his hands, fooking British swine. I would see it as a badge of honour, the actions of a true patriot. :)

It's a good idea but it maybe optional and only who want to add his/her age group may add it.

I agree with you on this :) animal avatars should be prohibited too ;).

I think there would be a big competition for bottom of the league not only two, for this reason I suggested that :)

It's not a good idea to make suggestion about content in my opinion. You may have a technical suggestion to prevent any kind of propaganda.

I like the idea of a thumbs up/down for a post?

it kinda allows readers see if the views of the poster are supported
like lets say, oh i dont know, crow ;) or espana, or admin! :P (ok maybe admins and mods exempt, but still) kindof an interesting idea.

I dont think it adds or detracts quality - maybe it just adds clutter but then, an interesting point to see the racist threads exposed more visually as being a real minority.

I'd say change forum's engine to phpBB… install few useful modules such as user warnings etc.; change the boring grey layout to something less boring... and then everybody should be happy :-)

Id say the balance is pretty good right now, i was a little worried after admin introduced the gold membership and advertising that this would become a Polish ad site. Hats of to admin really, does he actually make any money from the site? I dont think so, a selfless act.

Whats your motivation Admin? im curious.

First he gets the power, then the wimminz.

My post count is impressive? It is not really when you take into account that I usually argue with ten people at once per thread.
