Do the Moderators have a rule book or is it Knee jerk Policy?

You are asking for answers to questions that have been asked many times before. for that reason i'm sending this post to the bin.

Most questions that arrive on PF daily, have been been asked many times before, why do mods, only moderate certain topics. The amount of anti Jewish propaganda threads, that seem to pop up on PF is somewhat worrying, why is there NOT a anti racist policy on PF?

Mods are like gods.

They decide about life and death.

I imagine them like snipers in the Eastern front.

I imagine them like snipers in the Eastern front.

I imagine them to be decent people that operate on some form of moral code. This is the reason I ask about " Anti-racism and religious tolerance policy on PF"

You're not asking about the anti-racism policy, you're belly-aching about your whine-fest getting binned. A man whom once fancied himself wise, once told me, "One does not change Poland, Poland changes you.". Every single person here has been binned, and we all thought it was arbitrary. Now why don't you put on your big boy pants and dry your eyes, 'kay.

In answer to your question in the title the answer is, we have the same set of rules as you and we try to adhere to them.

why do mods, only moderate certain topics.

We moderate all threads in the public forums.

The amount of anti Jewish propaganda threads, that seem to pop up on PF is somewhat worrying, why is there NOT a anti racist policy on PF?

The threads in the main forums are/ should be Polish related, If they're not they go to off topic or the bin. Everyone is entitled to free speech as long as it's civil, and everyone is entitled to reply; as long as it is also civil. Blatant racial abuse will not be tolerated.

I would suggest you have a look through the random chat thread, to see that many blatant racist comments and racist threads have been moved there. If you come across any on the main forums you should report them through the correct channel.

" Anti-racism and religious tolerance policy "

you may choose to read into my question what you like, your PREROGATIVE old boy -. I am interested in the answer. simple as

Blatant racial abuse will not be tolerated

What about blatant ' Religious Abuse ' ?

The anti-Semitism on this forum is not being taken care of.

This is why I support SOPA/PIPA. It's one more step towards regulating the internet which clearly needs to be done. There are just too many trolls hiding in anonymity.

I would like to know how the OP qualifies this also?

What about anti-Polish threads/posts?

When trolls start these threads they usually end up in the bin, but if someone supply's a link and it is genuine then there is little we can do except make sure the thread doesn't go into a flaming war. The forums are everything about Poland, the good and the bad. Thankfully the good always out numbers the bad.

Religious discrimination is valuing or treating a person or group differently because of what they do or do not believe. A concept like that of 'religious discrimination' is necessary to take into account ambiguities of the term religious persecution which, in most countries would be prosecuted under "hate crime" laws.

It's a criminal offence to attack you because of your religion or belief, or because of your lack of religion. This includes both physical and verbal abuse.

Someone is also committing a criminal offence if they stir up hatred of a particular religious group. For example, if they publish or distribute racist information or information designed to stir up religious hatred.

If one of these criminal offences is committed against you or your family, you should report it to the police.

Advice from UK Gov.

Religious discrimination

I would say that Religious discrimination can be found in most countries around the world and is reported most days in the news. Their is nothing you or I can do about that, but on PF if it turn out to be related to religious or personal lives of forum members, we will step in and the offenders will find themselves banned from the forums

am sure the mods must have a pretty tough job tbh. if every negative reply were to be binned, we would all be on here discussing the joys of basket weaving etc...yeah there are lots of inflammatory posters on here, but if all threads were deleted, due to the minority, then we would not be having any decent discussions at all. just my 2 zlotych worth.

It's a criminal offence to attack you because of your religion or belief, or because of your lack of religion.

That is not a criminal act. What grounds are you using the word "attack"?

For example, if they publish or distribute racist information or information designed to stir up religious hatred.

On a mass context. Hardly something that could happen on a forum like this only.

Advice from UK Gov.

The UK gov has only prosecuted 2 "internet trolls" in it's long 2003 history....

If you wish to focus on the UK. After the riots of London the authorities now have more access social networks and media forums. The Police can get the information they require from IP providers very easily. Only two days ago A man was arrested after allegedly making racist remarks relating to the collapse of Premier League footballer Fabrice Muamba. The 21-year-old man from Pontypridd, south Wales aired his disparaging views on Twitter in the wake of the midfielder's tragedy.

oh, for fvcks sake, if you don't want to be humiliated, stop posting your religious opinions on internet forums. Go get a hug from your church, or shul members.

wait a second, it wasn't too long ago that you had a few threads going in a whiny fashion- so now you have changed your tune?

The way I see it is that there is no consistency. There are people that say the most stupid and hateful things- that edit grubas for example. yet time and time again he doesn't get banned or corrected. And yet others seem to get banned regularly without warrant- because the mods don't like their style?

whatever it is- it is plain as day.

How about national abuse? Commonly known as mud slinging?
Vincent 9 | 892

In my experiences, mud slingers usually end up in the mud themselves at some point. Some quicker than others.
