Qualities required for a new Moderator:-

Fair
Humble
Friendly ( likes all kinds of people, warts and all)
Not sensitive
Firm when neededGood command of language and can spell
AvailabilityLikes to contribute their free time for the good of the Community


Am sure there are more and even more sure other posters will add to this list hehe!

They were both Admin's imaginary friends throughout his childhood and they live on in his adult life.

OK, so you are a mod of this site, and can't be contacted by email? What is the process of talking to a mod, other than being banned?

That seems like a contradictory statement, coming from a mod.

Maybe the Mods should write a short summary of their profile. Maybe with their photos as people respond differently when they know the faces of people.

How so though Seanus?

Its like the bank teller or police officer - you don't need to know them to know that they are performing a job?

To be fair, we all have a good working knowledge of the team at PF.com between admin and the mods.

However, a short summary of each member being an option in each profile could be interesting. Rather than see a sheep we might see the real Seanus? (or real daffy for that matter). I wouldn't post my profile as a member, let alone a mod - a profile piece however, I might fill that out - would you?

A profile piece would be nice but Admin would have to somehow get the attention of all PF members to make it an across-the-board reality.

Nah, just a new thread sticky in FAQ and maybe a temporay banner on the top of the forum highlighting members can now add a short summary of themselves.

optional for all perhaps.

I still dont think we need more than what we have with the mods - by talking with them, you get that communal feel - just like when you go to the corner shop or regular at your local pub - not by a summary. So engage with you mods - and you will find the very think you seek.

Actually we at PF aren't like other forums or social sites that follow the money because we block all profiles from being spidered and included by search engines. That means - whatever you put in your profile will not be found on Google, Bing, Yahoo or other search engine.

To make it happen pictures would have to be fake or photoshoped, but in that case the purpose is gone ;)

A great bunch of people, who put a lot of work in to making this forum work well and fair.
People that work hard and all they get from us is abuse.
A bunch of people I would gladly invite to my home for dinner :)

That's who the MODs are.

Look at that, shows how far up in the PF world Dolly has risen since joining four days after myself. Dolly has over 3400 posts and is a mod and then there is my stats :) Some people really do love PF and work for the cause.

So fair play to all the mods for their hard work :)
