Be very cautious when dealing with kantors, and shop around for the best exchange rates. Read the fine print....

I also noticed that I get links or fob-offs rather than personal values of PF posters. I guess they are just staying within the rules ;)

I found this quotation from Milosz's book kind of interesting:

Catholicism's force lies in its manysidedness, which is revealed not only in the course of history but also in the successive phases of an individual life. the most interesting thread for me this week was the one about Swiss franc mortgages in Poland. It didnt exactly teach me anything i didnt already know but was interesting to see how this one is effecting people in the real world.

I learned that if some loonies build a wooden observation post on your land, you cannot only smile at them. (personally I would put a nice fire under it, but there you go :) )
