Bump any takers?

when im was in a primary school my friends nicked a bottle of wisniowka from their parents and drunk it.i didn't drink cos i was to young(they were older than me) but they gave me cherries from the bottle.i ate them and instantly felt sick.that was a very baaad experience and that's why i hate everything that smells cherries and alcohol.anyway i think that most of the poles don't like flavoured vodka drinks(at least those i know )

Nope. No one in PL that I know does either.

I have an extra bottle of spiritus and don't know what to do with it. I already have enough my special honey vodka. I'm sure I'll experiment with it and give it to my friends.

very baaad experience

Mine was with Chinzano (i know that spelling is wrong but I can't be bothered looking it up) - I had a couple of glasses at a party when I was 16 and was ill for days and didn't drink again untill I was in my mid 20is!! and still can't stand the smell of it...

I have to be honest I did like the cheery vodka and zobrowka with apple juice

I tried quite a few different ones when I was in Poland, the only one that I found a bit hard going was the black vodka - it made my mouth water and not in a nice way!

Well I have tried many drinks on my travels and I didnt think I'd ever try anything as bad as Unicum (it's from Hungary) but the black vodka takes first place now!

I'm looking forward to drinking some nice mulled wine when i go in December....or maybe some more vodka....

Not when you get used to it... A normal healthy man can drink a couple of beers every day (could be addictive on the long run though so be careful)..

"Bimber" is a name (i think can say slang name) of homemade vodka.
Was very popular during polish comunism regim when people had a problem with buying normal vodka in shop. Im too young to remember this but i heard a lot of stories.
I think at this time you could buy only 1L vodka per month or maybe 2 but not more so people used to preper bimber at home
