Manchester is great......and so are the people

It's a nice place I'll give you that but I haven't been down in a while. I remember a pub near the MEN Arena that was built into some arches. That was a visit from a while back. Is this pub still there?

no your right there, most certainly not, however its been well publicized that the gun crime is growing most in Manchester apart from London of course.

I was born there.

Exeter is nice and it's not far from the sea. The countryside is different. They even have palm trees in that part of England.

Exeter is in the south west. Newcastle is in the north east.

Nope, i don't live in Manchester. But i know the area well and Manchester is a large area. If you know it well, then you will also know that the crimes you are referring too are related to a very small area of Manchester.

:)

ok so even if it is a certain area why would you want to go to Manchester and take the risk of being shot, raped or mugged when you could live in another city where there is less of a chance. Where there are more people there is more crime.

Yeah. It's strange because I don't remember if it was in the gay community then. It was just a pub close to the MEN and there were about 30 of us looking for booze. We had a great time there though, I remember.

thats not my point, there are places where it is more likely and less likely to happen, i dam near broke my back in fact tore both of my lower back muscles near in half, i played football again. Nobody should be scared of these things but just be aware and prepared

Hey, Manchester is a big area ........think you will find crime is a lot higher in many similar area's (if not worse) around the UK.

What do you refer to as Manchester Torny ?

Anyway, Wyspy, Manchester is pretty cool you will like it :)

Everyone takes the chance.. Daily..
You cant live in fear. Or your not really living..

If you know where the trouble spots are.
Simply avoid them.
Manchester is a great place. So is New York.
But everyone needs to be aware of the surroundings. and Be careful.

I Wasnt going to.

I was going say. I was Born in Moss side. And grew up there. I lived here till i was 26.
Yes it has its dark side.
But that not a valid reason to slate the whole town.

The first time i got into trouble and got injured.
Was when i moved OUT Of Manchester.

Liverpool is a MUCH More dangerous place.
So are many other places.
