Hopefully the Polish soccer team win today. That would be a great step towards the Euro 2008.

We have the game on at this very minute. My youngest is enjoying it immensely. The only problem is that she hasn't got to grips with who we support and keeps shouting 'goal' every time Finland get near the Polish goal.
It's also not a good idea to give a child a full size flag to wave about....... you don't get to see much of the TV screen.

No.

My daughter was enjoying the game, but didn't understand which team was which.
We're all Polish in this house.

I had a chance to watch the game (most of it). Well, I couldn't see much improvement from the first game against Finland (lost 1:3). The today's result is fair for both teams. Poland had more luck (Finland as well) that Portugal didin't win against Serbia. Now it seems two wins against Kazachstan and Belgium should give advance for the Polish team. But who knows when the luck ends - I wouldn't be so sure to add 6 points after the next two games (4 points are more likely). So the last game against Serbia could be deciding. Hopefully I'm wrong...

Sorry, but i used to live in Finland, so I have to say Hyvä Suomi! = "come on Finland" heh!
But 0-0 is a nice and neutral result...

thanks man ! No matter this was quite an achievement for Finnish team, cos Polands team is of high quality. Finland has never ever qualified to EC or WC unlike Poland so qualifying means much more to us I think...

and Portugal - Serbia 1-1, so Finland stays in the competition, you just can't lose in Portugal, but with your style another 0-0 is quite possible :)

I tell you what lets forget Poland forget Portugal let's talk about Scotland and the Tartan army. Scotland who have now beaten France (World Cup Finalists) twice both home and away and were the first team to win in France since Argentina!!!.

They currently lie top of the group ahead of both world champions Italy and runners up France. Scotland also have some of the best support in the world and i'm sure although the French will be feeling pretty bad right now they would admit that the Scot's have some of the best supporters in the world. Its about time Scotland got back to the European Tournament as they add so much colour and fun to the whole tournament.

On a side issue it also looks like England are making a good revival after beating Russia 3-0 last night at Wembley, we seem to do well against the teams from Eastern Europe and around that area. Hopefully both England and Scotland will qualify for the Tournament in Switzerland and Austria nex summer.

A very happy English/Scot

T :)

congrats to the Scots for the win, I watched the second half (was live on Eurosport), and I hate French players (I support Italians, and those stupid French always badmouth Squadra Azzurra, so I'm glad they lost)
