Couple tobacco shops in Stalowa Wola, but I don't know if they have any Cuban cigars, but the first one below should have some cigars:

(Streets)
Niezłomnych 86,
Handlowa 13,
Komisji Edukacji Narodowej 11,
Mieszka I 26

Of course better range in online shops - there you should find exactly what you need. Yeah but not in two days, I know ;)

And a good coffee? It's very wide question..

Cuban cigars

If they are flying back to the States is this not a pretty risky item to be bringing in the luggage?

Also, do you really get better coffee here than over the pond? In Italy I can imagine, but is it that much cheaper to buy it in Poland than it is in the USA? I always think coffee is really expensive here.

From first hand experience as I have a home in Jamaica as well as in the U.S.
In Jamaica I can buy the best fresh Cuban cigars legally. $8 for a Coheba that lasts a half a day.
As 'Dont gag me yo' posted in another thread that U.S. Customs were nice and let his Cuban cigars slide.
They were nice to me once too for bringing in five Cuban Cohevas. (15 years ago)
They let me put the $500 USD fine on my credit card. First offense.
Second offense is being banned from travel to Jamaica for life.
So I think 'Dont gag me' is full of little green apples.
As for Jamaicans Blue Mountain coffee you can buy fresh beans off the farms for about $40 per kilo and
allowed to bring $600 worth back duty free legally. Most likely the same from Poland.
It sells for $80 per kilo in the U.S.
I have met some really cool Polish people in Jamaica.
They shocked me as they spoke perfect English.

I travel internationally almost every month being living in states and never had problems taking a pack or 2 even when customs checked it, in fact they know when one is taking for business purposes or personal consumption. Maybe you looked like a smuggler or had large quantity, just to update you us customs don't accept credit cards for fines, but will accept checks :))))

That doesn't surprise me as the U.S. has become very lacks on even travel to Cuba by Americans today.

Well I put it on my credit card back then. Just to update you.

Maybe you looked like a smuggler

What does a smuggler look like ?
I now just take the bands off them and replace them with Jamaican cigar bands.
They know but how was I to know when I bought them and have a reciept for 'Jamaican" cigars.
I have always lived on the edge. :-))))

I may have to concede on this one. I honestly can't remember. You got me.
After giving this some serious thought I have narrowed it down to more like 30 years ago this happened.
Man it sure seems they did put the fine on my credit card though.
I am willing to stand corrected however.
I don't carry my checkbook with me when I travel though.
Hell I can't remember but it seems it cost me $500, they kept the cigars and I missed my connecting flight.
My point was, no way did they let me slide when I tried it years ago.
You must have short hair and wear a tie to get away with it.
Thanks for pointing out such a detail however Justin. ;-)
How do you like the new retina scans they do now.
You just look up at their camera, click and walla, your picture pops up on their screen with all your personal information.

Does anyone else smoke cigars in Poland nowadays?

Yes there is a small community of cigar smokers - the FB group I am in has about 1000 members

There are maybe 10-15 lounges in Poland. 3 in Warsaw and others in Katowice, Poznan, Gdansk etc. There is also a national tobacconists called Smoke thar have shops in most bug towns and though the staff don't know much about cigars, the guy who owns it has out together a reasonable selection
