Has anyone tried Fortuna beer? It's brewed in a small town just outside Poznan and it's wonderful! The dark honey beer is a bit sweet for my taste, but the dark cherry beer is absolutely the best Polish beer I have ever tried! Highly recommended if you like lambics or piwo z sokiem!

Oh yes, I've tried.

End result : two hours riding around Poznan on the trams, missing my stop several times and generally being a bit worse for wear.

But yes, it's a great beer if you like sweet, dark beers.

How's the regular dark beer? It's the only variety I haven't tried...

Lethally good ;)

(I should mention that the only time I drank them, I had a ridiculous 4 day hangover afterwards due to far too excessive consumption - thumbs up from me)

Yes., I know it. It is truely very good. Have you tried the dark one? Now they changed it's name and it's Dragon I guess.

Oh, and yes it's deadly. Tastes innocent so you order another one, and another one... :)

The dark honey put me on my ass - however, not so much the cherry (curiously, it has a lower alcohol content than the others)

I've never tried any sweet beer before of any kind. I think I'd like to give it a try.

I've tried fortuna on tap and didn't like it. I thought I was drinking soda. It seemed to be the choice for most others, so I'm assuming if you like sweet beer, you'll love it. I immediately rounded the corner to the closest Belgian pub :)
