Ok, so you have a choice.
1) Sit at home in Scotland - there is a frost tonight, rain tomorrow.
or
2)Be in the Bahamas sipping Rum, out on the boat, maybe chill on the beach later.

No brainer.

Back on track. I was so close to getting a bottle tonight but plumped for Beherovka instead, dunno why. It's not bad but I remember it being better.

They are the only Russians that Poles seem to like, White and Black :)

White Russian, that's a good drink :)

Thread attached on merging:
Bruce Willis Promoting Polish Wodka ( Sobieski )

If anyone could use a shot of the new Belvedere vodka, Sobieski, Willis himself seems to be the prime candidate. But after a few seconds of breaking the ice and sizing up the room, the "Die Hard" star focuses up and quietly explains that he became the pitchman not because of the success of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' success hawking Ciroc or any of the other countless celebs endorsing booze, but simply "because I am a vodka man."

It is not only promoting the brand, it is also promoting Poland.

It's still here. Anyway, why is Bruce Willis a good face for vodka? I mean, he is hardly what Sean Connery is to whisky :) Do you know how big Suntory Zen got when he endorsed it? It was a cheap but very good whisky :)

Well it's owned by the French Belvédère Group

What on earth is a French group doing owning a Polish vodka producer? I'm aware of modern business practices but that is one step too far.

Actors make big money endorsing products all over the world. Sometimes they make more money in endorsements than for their films.

That's true! It's easy money as they spend much less time on a commercial than they do making a whole film as the main actor.

This reminds of a funny commercial for beer with French actor Jean Reno - cannot remember for which brand it was though :(

Seanus - almost all Polish beer brands are foreign-owned... That is about the same I guess :)
