As a rule Polish people doesn't (sic) eat chickpeas or garbanzos (as I call them) very often.

You can sometimes find them in large supermarkets, or if you're in a large city they might have them at a Kuchnia Świata store or a specialty store specializing in middle eastern foods.

In Polish they are called : ciecierzyca (singular) ciecierzyce (plural)

But it's not ready to eat. You have to prepare it.

Thanks.
Si, garbanzos....

How much does it approximately cost?

What about coconut milk? I guess it's possible to find it in Kuchnia Świata.

And butter beans? is it common in Polish food stores?

In Krakow, lots of shops seem to have chickpeas! And some even have coconut milk. For butterbeans you'd best try a health food/organic shop.

Very, but generally dried rather than tinned. The smaller kind are more popular, but you can also get the larger ones in good grocery shops.
