Yes! They are czernidłaks. They are edible but when alcohol is consumed along with them, you get a little poisoning.

Coprine is a compound found is a few of the Coprinus mushroom species, several of which are of culinary interest like Coprinopsis atramentaria. Consumed on their own, gastrointestinal discomfort is relatively rare but when taken with alcohol, "symptoms include facial reddening, nausea, vomiting, malaise, agitation and palpitations which arise 20 minutes to 2 hours after consumption." In effect the mushroom slows down the metabolism of alcohol leading to a buildup of acetaldehyde - a compound responsible for a lot of hangover symptoms. "Although very unpleasant, the syndrome has not been associated with any fatalities. The symptoms can occur if even a small amount of alcohol is consumed up to 3 days after eating the mushrooms and continue for over a week.

Nope. They are sour cherries. My doctor, Dr. Scarpetta, ordered me to consume a lot of them to improve my digestive system. So I do.

They were all mine:

Hm, very interesting, Pawian, thank you a lot for brain's visual memory work-out and a bit of stomach growling after seeing some of the food in your pictures. :)
The kvass you are talking about used to be good in the past. Somehow they don't make it that way anymore. Maybe, the reason for that is buying it fresh right from the cask (when it is fresh and without conservants) as compared to plastic bottles are two different things. Real kvass, as I remember, wasn't anything close to dark reddish or brown. It was like beer - clear golden sunset color. Have a good one, Pawian.
