Does anyone know where to get Irn Bru in Poland?

Meantime, a seasonal reminder of the second national drink: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2-qmMv5XXg

It is available at finer gas stations in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Bulgaria :)

I can't explain why... I haven't seen any here (other than in the specialty shops).

Maybe in Makro? I could check. The closest the Poles have is Oranżada but it's not the same. Similar to an extent but not the real deal.

I saw it advertised in a cinema in Gdynia some time ago.

Maybe for the UN troops. Funny thing was that when I was in Macedonia they have a yellow drink made of pears, I think. Me and my mate took a mouthful each, looked at each other and said, "Irn Bru"

It was really Irn Bru. Got the pics, didn't know what it was until my island monkey copilot told me where it was from.

I believe you. It's just in Scotland and UK it's legendary for having an indescribible taste. To find a local brew with the same taste was bizarre.

D&B, wildrover? We got that up north. I liked it too :)

Chippies? That sounds about right for Irn-Bru. I often bought a can after swimming :)

I think you'll find it's "phenominal"

Strangely, I know (from friends at Barrs), Irn Bru is very very popular in Russia. They are the biggest importer of Irn Bru in the world (last I heard). So perhaps they like the taste in those places too.

Kuchnie Swiata has it :) You should be able to order it from them - I'm not sure if they have an online shop, but they're in some cities - and if not, they should be able to sort you out with some supplies on a wholesale basis :) It's 5zl a can in the shops.

If I remember, you're in Olsztyn - if so, you're in luck! :) Their wholesaler is there too - so you should be able to order a decent amount at a good price :)

10 - 540 Olsztyn
ul. D±browszczaków 13/2
tel.: 89 535 07 23
fax: 89 521 03 94
e-mail: olsztyn@sanechem.com.pl
pon.-pt.: 800 - 1600
sob.: 900 - 1200

Even if they don't have it in the store, they can order it easily for you.
