I'll give it a go, next time I see it around at a bar.

Thanks

I recently had Wyborowa Exquisite for the first time(cant buy it in the States)

Yes you can. In fact it was launched in the US about four years before it was launched in Poland. The only difference is that it is called Wyborowa Single Estate there. Same great vodka, same superb bottle design, just a slightly different name.

Any Idea why it is gone from the US? Or if it is coming back?

As far as I know it is still sold in the USA. Why not check their US website? Or drop them an email.

Just did that. Normally if I was looking for something, I would just punch it into Google Shopping, and it would pull it up. The only results that it pulls up goes to the UK to purchase it. Rather frustrating.

How about Ardbeg Whisky which is one of the heaviest and peatiest single malts that you are ever likely to encounter. A ferociously phenolic dram which retains an impressive finesse. Excellent and exciting when young, endlessly complex and stimulating when bottled old. Ardbeg is a mighty malt and increasingly popular .Very distinct flavour.

I have to admit, this is one Islay malt that is too powerful for me. I need to add water or ice to this bad mamajama.

One of my friends loves this, for me, I need a bio-hazard suit just to get near it. That is where I wimp out.

But I am man enough to admit it right...?

I also know when a drink is too strong for me---Maybe this one would be better---Longrow malt is 100% dried above a peat fire, giving it a stronger taste. It has an Amber-Golden colour. Lush sweetness with milk chocolate & autumn fruits. Strong hints of burning embers.
It's also very rich & oily in body with toffee apples and cloves dominating at first. Not 'In Your Face' Peatiness but rather subtle smoky undertones well integrated into the character of the malt.
The perfect seasonal dram.

Is it 5 o'clock yet? Seriously, I need to find that based on your description.
you had me at dried above a peat fire.

Seeing that we are getting 18inches of snow today, thought would be a nice bottle to have handy!

We got hit with the same winter storm today-I just came in and I am going to have a drink.I bought this one not too long ago, which I now intend to crack open the bottle and have a refreshment while I sit in my favourite chair. Mackmyra Preludium is a Swedish Single Malt Whisky-- this Mackmyra boasts a delightfully exuberant peat character and more than a hint of sherry influence as well.

Ha I am still waiting for the snow...apparently it is showing up fashionably late.

Ha we got 3 inches of snow. Told us we would get between 12-18. I wish I was a weatherman, and could always be wrong.
