I had a Polish pizza once and it was rubbish, but if you make your own pizza but substitute Italian-style ingredients with kiełbasa and so forth, then serve with ogórki, you can't go wrong. Especially as pineapple isn't exactly indigenous to Poland. Are there any interesting goat's cheeses that might go well on pizza? Maybe something from the mountains.

I strongly disagree with you. Polish pizza is very good.

I didn't say that all Polish pizza is rubbish. I had one pizza and it was rubbish. There's too much other good food in Poland for me to make a reasonable analysis of the quality of Polish pizza. Glad you like the avatar. The goat is a noble creature! Lech isn't quite my favourite beer though. Nearly, but not quite.

Stick to the Polish ravioli. It's made out of little baby pigeons apparently.

Polish pizza generally contains no tomato sauce at all and is rather bland. If u want good pizza new york is the place. I ate the best pizza ever there and it was made in an italian restaurant.

Tell me is there naything that Poland does that isnt the best in the world? Someone has gotta agree with me that kebabs made in a Polish way are disgusting.(PLease note my avoidance of the term POLISH KEBABS - they are simply not Polish)

That`s true.
But during summer holidays we travel a lot around Poland and have pizza almost every day. I have not complained so far...

If Hawaii can have pizza, then why not Poland too?

If you were going to have an "authentically Polish" pizza, what toppings would you choose?

As much true Polish ingridients as possible: vegatebles , good sousage, sauce. We all know thatPoland uses much less pesticides and other chemical substanction in agriculture. That makes our pizza so tasty and healty :)

Have you made them at home ?

When we talk about cheese I love Ser Poldlaski or other made by Mlekovita ( I don't make my own pizza I talk about cheese in general)

podlaski

It is from northeast Poland. When I eat it I know that it is healthy.

north

Yes.
Actually, the one above is the same pizza, before and after baking. It is quite easy because you can buy excellent pizza bases in Polish supermarkets.

To be honest I prefere to go to restaurant. You can make most dishes at home and they can be much better than in restaurant but to make good pizza you need special oven. Pastry makes the difference.

The best in the world? Steady on!! It is pretty good tho. I've tried from various outlets and they are impressive. What I like is that a big one costs little more than a small one. That's what got me fat. I've slimmed down a bit due to no pizza.

Some of the local outlets are very good. There was an amazing place in Cieszyn. That pizza must've had around 1500-2000 calories but it was very tasty.

Any suggestion in Warsaw. I've tried once or twice but it was italian restaurant so it was not something so different or special.

Looking at the pic's of Pawian #16 and seeing those beans and corn on an 'empty' pizza [where are the tomato-sauce and cheese ? !], I can say fairly that is not a good pizza.

So; ''Polish Pizza ! The best in the world ?'' ... no ... absolutely not. Sorry to say.

I prefer italian bigos.

I tried Polish Pizza at Polish Fest in Chicago, IL.
I didn't like the ways they make it.

Italian people make The Best Pizzas in The World. No one can't beat Italian Pizzas, Stuffed pizzas, pan pizzas, calzones and double deck pizzas. I tried everythings.

I preferred polish sauage with scramble eggs. It is best breakfast for me.
