I got it from a babcia herself!

Without much further ado, here's a traditional recipe:

1 kg flour
100 grams yeast
1/2 liter milk (warm)
7 yolks
1 whole egg
3/4 cup sugar
100 grams butter (melted, cooled)
1 jigger (shot) of rum or spirytus (grain alcohol)
Juice of 1 lemon
Pinch of salt

Let me know what you think.

Looks good i may give it a whirl at some point, i like doughnuts. Thats an usually large amount of egg yolk, but hey who am i to argue with babcias best. The golden oldies are usually the best.

Translating it was a pain though. These recipes often skip steps, leave out ingredients until almost done, and assume you've made the recipe over and over before. Some editing and stuff had to be done to actually make it usable by someone who is not a skilled babcia.
