If you are drinking in Aloha then all you need to do is go out of the door, turn left and go into the wee 24 shop there and they have it. Many a night i've been tempted by it, but after the one night of Spyritus and Red Bull my liver just says no!

The only way to drink spyritus is to mix it with 1/2 distilled water. Then ,you will survive the night before.

Spyritus, isn't that methanol instead of alcohol? If so, you can get blind of the stuff.

I can proudly report from a 'taste test' on some British friends that -

a) It gets you nicely drunk (or absolutely hammered if you drink three shots)
b) It's a cheap night out
c) No hangover

Seems good...if you can handle it!

You can NOT go blind from this booze-read this extract from a well known distillery:

Rectified spirit or rectified alcohol is highly concentrated ethanol (drinking alcohol) which has been purified by means of repeated distillation, a process that is called rectification. Rectified spirits are used in mixed drinks, in the production of liqueurs, for medicinal purposes, and as a household solvent.

Look like it's good to drink and clean all your household wares and keep you healthy. -------------WOW ------- Not Bad !!!!!!

And you can start vomitting with blood as an extra. I don't recommend drinking spirits and anyone who's trying to is a stupid kid with no imagination, our liver and stomach are not made for such type of %.

If you read the article ------You would know that it said "mixed drinks" and not straight on the rocks Lot of Polish people I know drink it straight up -----with a glass of water as a chaser . I don't think that is too healthy.

Yes, I read your post, mine was merely in jest. I enjoy the odd spyritus with red bull...but not very often as I often lose the ability to speak the next day!

There should be a taste test. First there was Pepsi Vs Coke, now methylated spirits Vs spiritus. I dare say a few shots would go down well, as would the person that drunk them.

I'm not sure about the person going down 'well'...if anything, they're likely to hit the deck with an almighty thud ;)

Well and truly going down is what I had in mind :) I'm too fresh off of my whisky debacle to return to spirits/liquour. I'm gonna be drinking ales next week when home, that's more my style.

Christmas and New Year are coming and we do a lot of toasting----"sto Lat"---and I don't think you can do that with beer. This is where the booze comes in. " Wesolych swiat and sceczilwy Nowy Rok" if you know what I mean.

C'mon now are you a man or a mouse?????Poland grew up on Spirytus-and yes -it's strong but lot's of Poles dilute it 50/50 with distilled water and still get a good ,strong drink.
