WHY IN POLAND PEOPLE DON'T USE ICE?

Uk dental problems ? riiight.. that would be because dentists in the UK allow natural variation instead of fake and ridiculous plastic smiles certain Americans seem to prefer.

I have all my teeth, all it takes is a few minutes to brush and floss.
Why is it then that the majority of British refuse to go to the dentist and have such a terrible reputation for crooked rotten teeth?

I didnt make this up, the whole world knows it!

The appalling health of Americans is largely down to the terrible diet,

Ive lived here for decades and dont have any health problems, Ill be willing to bet that Im in a lot better shape than most people that point their fingers and criticize America.

Oh thats right,,we all eat at McDonalds everyday,,thats all we have,,,lol

this has got to be the funniest post i've read in a long time. hahaha!

"Man, her teeth are messed up."

"Nah....nah dude.....she has natural variation."

haha, oh that's just precious.

"fake and ridiculous plastic smiles that certain Americans seem to prefer"......this is priceless. you mean straight, white, clean healthy teeth? is that what you're getting at?

nothing ridiculous about great teeth, partner. would hate to see yours.

Why do you have to make this ridiculous generalization?

All the people I know in Poland use ice.

''Lucky you, bc i'm lookin for that place to serve ice in the drink.....

you go to a friends house they kill you with a hot tea hehehe......

Never been to England then have you.

Never been to England then have you.

The Polish way is the best for your body because if you drink cold water when it is very hot you heart needs to pump much more and one should drink lukewarm beverage or hot drinks when it is very hot ( like people living in the desert).
I know it is really unpleasant but we should avoid drinking very cold or icy drinks when it is 90F.
In the US they have air conditionning EVERYWHERE so no problem!

I''ll get used in the future, but now is 95F, also i grew up drikin with ice

I prefer cool, not cold beverages when exercising or when it is hot out.
I can slam a cool drink, but a cold one gives me "brain freeze".

Drink warm or cool water during a workout?

I never heard of anybody boiling a roast until I went to England.

I think thats a pot roast youre referring to Sledz, its actually a fantastic alternative to traditional roasted meat designed to keep it succulent.

I believe this is an American web site -

Sledz, Brits all have bad teeth like all Americans are fat...

I've never had trouble getting ice in my drink in Heathrow or any other airport in UK or Europe so maybe you just annoyed the guy huh? Why do want so much ice in your drink anyway? Need it watered down a bit?

I think Wroclaw Boy is right you mean pot roast rather than boiling beef. Pot roast is as popular in the USA as it is in UK. Besides, what is wrong with succulent meat? Who likes eating tough meat?

Oh and about the ice again. Its use in Poland is widespread. I never have a cold drink without it.

Not exactly, boiling beef in the UK was common practice, in fact so common there was a song about it - but that was in the early 20th century...

Boiled beef and carrots,
Boiled beef and carrots,
That's the stuff for your "Derby Kell",
Makes you fit and keeps you well.
Don't live like vegetarians
On food they give to parrots,
Blow out your kite, from Morn til night,
On boiled beef and carrots.

...Maybe, just maybe, they look older because....and wait for it now...they've had a harder life. They've only had freedom for the last 20 or so years. USA has had it for centuries...- see the difference now.

Lol. Maybe if Poles learned to smile more, be more adventerious and drink more water with ice and be less uptight, worry what other people say about them they would express themselves by looking more realxed and younger. People who always complain, are always crabby, never satisfied, uptight makes them look older.

Is that what's called adventurous out your way?

Water with ice wow how hedonistic. That's me looking for the plastic thing that shapes ice cubes for the freezer. Where the fcuk did i put it?

Here in Canada we have fridges that make ice and store it.No need for plastic trays--pouring water in them-breaking ice apart. It's all done automatically. What a good invention!!!!!No bother ---no fuss

Maybe so but i'll bet it does not make it into nice shapes like Rabbits and Thomas the tank engine does it?

Most people agree, warm or room temperature beer is yucky! Maybe there's no ice in Poland because there aren't any ice trays?

Ice ice ice ice ice with spam and with ice ice ice...

I prefer to keep my beer and beverages in the fridge instead of watering them down with ice.

Last time I was in Poland I came upon the same problem---warm beer---so when I was visiting family in the small towns and wjoski,I decided to try cooling off the beer in the studnia (well).I'd put the beer in the water bucket and let the beer sit in the ice cold water.Voila!!!!I had cold beer .It worked so well that to this day they still keep on doing it.

---warm beer---

Buying cold beer from the shops and some garages in Poland is an issue, many smaller shops dont bother switching on the fridges to save electricity. It really p1sses me off.

that's exactly why they do it.

it all comes down to economics.

kinda like how all Poles convinced themselves that air conditioning is "unhealthy".

air conditioning is "unhealthy".

Actually, AC is unhealthy (though admittedly pleasant).

Why's that? Seems like there are some decent arguments that AC can be very healthy...

and the argument that a black finish property gives the client opportunity to arrange the kitchen how they want it, i mean lets forget about the 40,000 PLN price tag attached to installing a decent kitchen.

let me guess Magdalena, drinking a shot of vodka every morning keeps you healthy when you travel to foreign countries as well, right? and if you get sick, just throw some pepper in there, voila! healthy as a horse.

a big, dumb polish horse.

My my, says the man who paid over 3000zl to spend a few days by the Polish seaside. Now that's dumb! Then again, I don't expect anyone else from someone who thinks that employed people have to pay the self employed rate of ZUS.

Anyway, I would expect a so-called biologist to know that Legionella bacteria can be found in AC systems that aren't cleaned properly (how many are, I wonder, especially in Northern Europe?).

I guess the term "big, dumb American horse" would seem appropriate here.

I thought the issue with AC was the fluctuaiton of temperatures causing Bronchitis and other respitory diseases.
