Iwould say that this one, would make sense.

I would frankly say this would make logical sense as well:

Polonia UK, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales

but it's too long ;).

respect us as our own sovereign country.

I think this is the main point Babylon2007 was making.

Erin. That's nice and romantic. If it was good enough for the poets it's good enough for me.

Is google something you drive?
When you drive it, do you need goggles?
Aren't draught animals required these days?
Who needs google anyway?

A hush has fallen upon our household. Bateman cartoon like looks are being thrown. I think we might need a resucitation team for the youngest szarlotka.

If there is a vote... at the risk of being torn apart by some Canadian members: I'd vote for Ireland having its own forum, separate form the UK. Even if it's at the cost of merging US and Canada into North America.

As an Irish person (south) Ive no bother with UK & Ireland. As Uk is 58m and Ireland is 3.5m (then add foreigners of which up to 200k is polish)

UK & Ireland would best represent the Polish scenario on the Isles. IMHo

Double titles usually work better with the short name first.
UK (2 syllables) & Ireland (3 syllables)

Oscar & Hammerstein
Lennon & McCartney
Dollond & Aitchison
Marks & Spencer

Yeah, I think so to, and I also think UK should be spelled out fully, out of respect for the country.
oops! that would make Ireland the shorter of the two names ;)

Hmm, but 10 times more people think otherwise:

UK and Ireland - 1,5M results

Ireland and UK - 0.15M results

be we usually say "UK and Ireland" in quick speech - not United Kingdom and Ireland (or the even longer name :)

That is not otherwise. That is the way round I had said.

Don't mention Bacharach & David.

Maybe I should start a petition for the Australian section to be re-named Australia, the South Pacific and New Zealand....

except well the last census in NZ recorded less than 2,000 people claiming Polish heritage in NZ.
