Beef - Translations pleaseeeeee

HI guys...

I have just found various joints of beef at my local Alma...

But I can't figure out which cut is what????

What are Fillets...rumps...sirloin..topside...rib-eye called in Polish??

Help very much appreciated!

how about looking? btw. i highly doubt it you will find the same cuts you are used to wherever you are from.. kielbasa is king, not steaks in PL

fillets- filety
rumps - rumsztyki
sirloin - polędwica wołowa
topside - wołowina z górnej części nogi
rib-eye - stek z antrykotu z tłustym "oczkiem" pośrodku

hell yeah it matters.....certain steaks are better for grills....others for stews...others for roasts!!

There is a tendency to cut them strange here. Might want to find a good local butcher and tell them exactly what you want, and how you want it cut. The quality of meat at Alma has disappointed a couple of times.
