Correct Translation Required - 'buy the ticket, take the ride'

Hello,

I would like to get a tattoo of a Hunter S Thompson quote 'Buy the ticket, take the ride'.

The translations I am getting online do not seem quite right and many say something like - purchase a ticket, travel by road' or something similar.

I think the Polish language is beautiful and have been wanting this tattoo for years - I will be travelling to Poland in January 2012 and would like to get the tat done when I am in Wroclaw.

If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that you want this exact text? I am trying to come up with a translation that would contain the original non-literal meaning and not sound silly, but it really just does not work in Polish. Also nobody will associate this with H.S. Thompson, so people will be asking you 'how much is the ticket' and so on ;) Maybe something like 'Bez odwrotu' (no turning back) would sound better.
