My cousin wrote me this in a recent e-mail. I've never heard it before. What does it mean?

I goggled it to be certain but it sounds like the Polish version of Mi Casa Su Casa, C'mon Over, Welcome, etc...

It means, that whatever there is in the house will be gladly shared with the guest.

More or less. Though there is a saying "Co moje to twoje" in Polish which translates exactly to "What's mine is yours"

"czym chata bogata tym rada" is a welcome phrase used when a guest comes to ones house. Like a reassurance of the awaiting hospitality.

I'm guessing "rada" - from "radował"? "Będę się radował" - I will be happy, excited.

I'm not sure though...

_yes, 'rada' is a feminine form of 'rad' and it is an adjective meaning mostly 'glad' or 'enthusiastic' (and it is the root word of 'radość') - however 'czym chata bogata tym rada' must retain some older allied meaning of 'rad/rada'

in Czech 'mam te rad/a' means I like you (I enjoy your company?)

'radość' is mostly translated as 'joy'
