so what does it say??? I want to know why someone was desperate to delete it from my inbox, if I'm being messed about (which is my suspicion) I need to get things sorted.

Sounds like it’s addressed to your new found boyfriend who has a wife and kid back in Poland.

You should confront him yourself about it and let him do the explaining. For all I know he could be divorced so let’s not jump into conclusions here.

What kind of husband and father are you that doesn't take care of his family? You likely earn that kind of money there by yourself and you boast when you are here. You should be ashamed.

(Poles write in a very particular way which often doesn't make sense to me.)

BJZ50: ok thank you :(

But if you still want the translation here it is:
What kind of husband and father are you to neglect your family like that. Supposedly you’re doing well, at least you brag about it every time you’re here. Shame on you.

EDIT:

Good job Seanus.

Sht, thanks. I do my best but am 'do słowiu' too much of the time. She got the sense.

Well, looks like I'm on the lookout for a new boyfriend now, might just have a break for a while. x

BJ, quite a few do that when abroad but you have to bear in mind that many Poles that left for the UK had nothing going for them here and they didn't even have the gumption to make contacts or try and better themselves. They just gurned like kids! Many of my Polish friends here cringe when they think of them as ambassadors.

So, chin up and there are plenty more fish in the sea, ma lass :)

Find out if he's divorced first (Im assuming he's given you some info about his life back in Poland?)- might be some neurotic biatch, why would they send it to your email address?

Seanus - I know what you mean about them acting like kids.
Amathyst - I've even been to Poland and met his mum and sister who both seemed really happy to see me, but I only understand a little of the language.
I think I'm in for a week of talking.

I can only say that experiences abroad don't tend to last. They have romantic ideals (no, not candles ;)) and want to return to Poland. Don't put yourself too much into anything unless you are sure.

BJZ50: wiem ze to nie moja sprawa

the first sentence starts with "I know it is not my business", which would indicate that it is not his current wife. Another hint is that all she seems to be indignant about is money for his family. Could be a sister.
