Hi folks.... I am trying to help a friend translate some business adverts into English , i have done most of it , but i am stuck on a few womens technical terms....can you help me with English translations of the following...... MASAZ TWARZY PIELEGNACJA TWARZY HENNA MAKIJAZ Thanks...

masaż twarzy - my bet is facial massage pielęgnacja twarzy - beware it's my pure own invention - facial beauty care ;) - consider yourself warned ;) makijaż is simply make-up in English henna translates as henna I guess :)

Thanks... that would be my guess too , but us guys don,t really know what stuff women have done at these places.... I know Henna is a colour , but what does it mean when it just says Henna on her advert....does she dye hair this colour , and why only this colour...? We need a woman to explain this i think...?

You can get henna based colorants in various shades.

Other than hair coloring and tattooing, it is also used by some cabinet makers to achieve various effects, including evening up of the shades of grain of various lumber varieties such as, for instance, walnut.

In Polish beauty parlours it means dying the eyelashes and brows, usually black, could be also brown or dark grey. The beauticians don't deal with hair, that's the hairdresses' job :)

I know there is henna hair colour...my ex girlfriend used it..i was just a bit puzzled at to why she was dyeing things only this colour....but now it has been explained... Thanks everyone...

Interesting, I thought henna was the middle eastern tradition of painting beautiful monograms on hands and other body parts, especially right before a wedding. I saw some programme about that....i guess if its painted on its like a tattoo , but not permenant.... I suspect in this case she just does the eyelash colouring...
