My husband's grandmother had a saying about good fortune, and we think it went something like "If you clean your plate, tomorrow will be a good day." And my father in law says it was pronounced, forgive my phonetic spelling, "Utro ben-jay pagoda." I would love to have this written in Polish for Christmas... can anyone help? Thank you.

i'm not sure what she was trying to say, because i don't know this saying...

the translation is: "Jeśli wyczyścisz swój talerz, jutro będzie ładna pogoda" - if you clean your plate, it's going to be a nice weather tomorrow...

it might be a saying for the kids so they would eat everything from their plates...

i hope it helps! :)
