Has anyone ever heard the polish word "Kashedukes"? The spelling may be wrong.

Kashedukes meaning= my father-in-law always said it meant a group of older men grouped together holding court (talking to one another).

Has anyone ever heard the polish word "Kashedukes"? The spelling may be wrong.

My father-in-law said it meant a group of older men sitting around holding court or talking amongst themselves.

That's an understatement... Try other spellings, to convey the pronounciation is several ways. Maybe someone can guess what you mean.
