Has anyone ever heard the polish word "Kashedukes"? The spelling may be wrong.

Kashedukes meaning= my father-in-law always said it meant a group of older men grouped together holding court (talking to one another).

Has anyone ever heard the polish word "Kashedukes"? The spelling may be wrong. My father-in-law said it meant a group of older men sitting around holding court or talking amongst themselves.

August: The spelling may be wrong. That's an understatement... Try other spellings, to convey the pronounciation is several ways. Maybe someone can guess what you mean.
