I know my first post is asking for help translating an I'm sorry but I need help. I have been looking online for a nice tribute to my grandfather. He passed away last month and was from Glasgow. I wanted to get a polish saying tattooed on my arm and narrowed it down but the translations are different where I look. I just want to make sure it's right before I go making it permanent.

Kropla do kropli i będzie morze
Translation: Drop after drop, there will be a sea

Los szczęście rzuca, ale nie każdy je łapie
Translation: Fate throws fortune, but not everyone catches.

Altho if you may have a suggestion as to a rather nice saying I'm all ears

Kropla do kropli looks like 'drop to drop' but the resident Poles have spoken. After, to me anyway, should be po. Krok po kroku, step by step (one step after another).

Kropla do kropli makes sense in a way. One drop after another, from drop to drop :)

Yeah, especially if it's in the context of wine sampling :)
