"manipulator" in Polish ?

Hi,

Looking for the appropriate word to translate "manipulator" in Polish. My dictionary specifies several words without explanations, therefore I can't guess which one is more appropriate. The dictionary says : "laborant, pomocnik, prestidigitator, klucz, manipulator, nastawnik".

I mean "manipulator" as a "hypocrite, someone manipulating other people".

Manipulator is just manipulator in Polish and it has no synonym.
You can use "krętacz" sometimes but it's a person who wants to cheat you not always to manipulate you.

Moonlighting:
"laborant, pomocnik, klucz, manipulator, nastawnik".

Those words refer to some mechanical works because "manipulować" in Polish means "to doing something precise with hands" .
Prestidigitator = illusionist, juggler

In case of an evil Polish woman it would be 'manipulatorka' or 'krętaczka'. Or just 'zła kobieta'.

In the "psychological" sense for which you want it (to name a human being), the appropriate term is manipulant/manipulantka rather than manipulator/manipulatorka.
