o to chodzi, o to mi chodzi

can somebody please explain this, I don't get it. How is it used? I have had my husband try to explain it and a friend and I still don't get it.
thanks.

It's about this, this is what I'm talking about.

Closest English phrase - o to mi chodzi -> this is what I'm going on about; except that the English phrase is a bit pejorative sounding.

You could say " That's it; that's what I mean."

pip:
o to chodzi

That is the point. (that is what it is all about)

pip:
o to mi chodzi

that's what I mean

Nie chodzi o to! = That is not the point.

O co ci chodzi? = What is on your mind? What do you mean? What are you trying to say?

Nie rozumiem, o co ci chodzi. = I dont know what you mean. I dont know what you are getting at.

O to wlaśnie chodzi! = That is precisely the point. That is what it is all about.
